Rashidah Samirah (Inge) is a published author, behavioral health professional, and community builder with over 15 years of experience working in mental health across inpatient, community-based, and school settings. She currently serves as an ACT Team Director and a social worker in inpatient psychiatric care. She is the author of two titles: Born Into Chaos, a raw personal narrative about survival and transformation; and Amara: Daughter of Storm and Shadow, a young adult fantasy. Rashidah is also the founder of Brews & Books Café, a community-centered café and bookstore coming soon to downtown Dover, Delaware, rooted in her belief that community, coffee, and culture can create spaces where people heal.
