Chaplain Dr. Dana Williamson, Volunteer Prison Chaplain, Advocate for Spiritual Growth and Rehabilitation. Chaplain Williamson has dedicated her life to offering hope, healing, and spiritual guidance to individuals in correctional facilities. With 25 years of experience as a volunteer prison chaplain, she brings compassion, understanding, and a deep commitment to supporting incarcerated persons on their journey of transformation and redemption. Holding a Doctor of Theology Degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary, and a master’s degree in social work from University of Texas Arlington. Chaplain Williamson is well-versed in interfaith ministry, ensuring that her support is inclusive and respectful of all beliefs. Her work focuses on fostering spiritual growth, emotional resilience, and personal accountability among those she serves. In addition to leading worship services and Bible studies, Chaplain Williamson provides one-on-one counseling, crisis intervention, and programs designed to help inmates reconnect with their faith, families, and communities. She is passionate about empowering incarcerated persons to see their inherent worth and to embrace new beginnings. Chaplain Williamson collaborates with prison staff, volunteers, and community organizations to create a supportive network for post-release success. Her mission is to bring light to dark places, offering a message of hope that change is possible for all.
